About ASMIRE
Established in the year 1911, by late Shri G.K. alias Annasaheb Somalwar, with the blessings of Saint Shri Nikalas Mahraj, Somalwar Education Society has successfully completed 113 glorious years. Somalwar Group Shines out with the motto || ज्ञानादेव तु कैवल्यम् || i.e. 'only through knowledge, one attains liberation'. Under the able leadership and guidance of learned people like, Late Shri Bhausaheb Somalwar, Late Shri Bhaiyyasaheb Somalwar, Late Shri Dadasaheb Somalwar, Late Shri Manoharrao Somalwar and Late Sushilatai Deoras, Somalwar School flourished magnanimously and is moving ahead with a legacy in the field of education. Dynamic leadership, learned faculty, and diligent students are assiduously carrying forward the triumphant heritage to the pinnacle of success, producing maximum number of meritorious students and offering the society a bunch of virtuous citizens year after year.
ASMIRE is a tribute to our beloved founder Late Shri Annasaheb Somalwar. It is a search of innate talent amongst students. It is an examination but without any prescribed syllabus thus no specific preparation is required to appear for the tests. ASMIRE intends to create a neutral platform for students and schools to showcase their academic spark and win exciting prizes.
We are committed to organize ASMIRE every year in the month of December as a mark of our founder's day celebrations involving as much students and schools as possible. With co-operation from all, we are sure ASMIRE will evolve and deliver the desired outcomes.
2023 was the first year of ASMIRE event that witnessed participation of over 31000 students from 89 prominent schools in the city. This overwhelming response has motivated us to present ASMIRE 2024 with even better framework and execution.
